Unfolding Landscape is a group show I curated in collaboration with Julienne Tullemans of De Cacaofabriek. It took place in De Cacaofabriek in Helmond, NL, from January 20 – March 4, 2018.

The show explored a variety of approaches to invisible landscapes, offering a range of perspectives on how we experience and perceive our surroundings. The works in the exhibition suggest that what we see is not what is there. A landscape only visible in the dark; the thin surface activity that hints at deep geologic layers; landscapes constructed from extraterrestrial data; an interior emotional landscape or the personal mapping of an exterior surroundings made up some of the works in the exhibition.

Five artists participated in the exhibition (Luci Eldridge (UK), Catriona Leahy (IE), Andrew Youngson (UK), Wieteke Heldens (US/NL) and Rachel Bacon (US/NL).
