Days of the Week | 2022 – 2023

These drawings were all made during the first week of the artist residency period at Drawing Centre Diepenheim in 2022. Each drawing took one day to make, and is named for that day of the week. They represent a series of tests and playful experiments to discover as broad a range of mark making and crumpling as possible, to work with in the months ahead. All the drawings are made with graphite on paper on foil, and are now in private collections.
A second series was shown at the exhibition The Automatic Self (and the gifted hand) at Quartair, The Hague, NL, April 15th – May 7th, 2023.
